"Another year over, a new one just begun"

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!!!

Well this week has just been incredibly awesome, but first of all congrats to Chad Wilson on his mission call to Fresno California! That is awesome!

Well anyways, this is the beginning of a year for two different reasons... on Thursday I completed one year in the mission field, and well also it is New Years Eve! woohoo!

Well anyways this Christmas was honestly just incredible. We were able to meet some incredible people and share some great messages about our Savior Jesus Christ. Honestly, this Christmas was one of the best ever. I love being here serving my Father in Heaven.
So this week we also started giving free classes of English, guitar, and piano in the Stake Center with other missionaries as a way to find new investigators. I am the piano teacher. It is actually a lot of fun!

We have also had well a lot of success this week in our area and in all the district. This last week I interviewed 5 people for baptism, and this week will be at least another 5, plus 2 from our area. We are having a blast here working as hard as we can for the salvation of all the rest. And it is great, because we are starting to see this success.

So the two baptismal dates that we have this week are Noe and Jazmine. They are two grandkids of a recent convert. They are so funny! They are 10 and 12. We have spent a lot of time this week getting them ready, and well it is just so much fun teaching kids. I love it.

So yesterday, we had a torrential downpour. All of the streets were rivers. It was quite bad. But it turned out really cool, because we found some new investigators during it because we were still out working and knocking during all the rain and they were all impressed and we were able to get in the door. Fun stuff going on here.

So this week we also had our district meeting all about the importance of the Book of Mormon in conversion. The Book of Mormon is essential in our lives. As we say in the church, it is the cornerstone of our religion. I invite all of you this new year to make the Book of Mormon a more important thing in your lives.

Well I gotta go. I love you all so much! Have a great New years!
Love ya!
