So yesterday I was able to sing in church "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go". That is the favorite hymn of one of our investigators and so that was super cool. Well another exciting part of the week was when we realized that one of our investigators with a baptismal date actually was baptized many years ago and was a very active and faithful member... he is just up in his years and forgot it all... On Wednesday, we had a youth who is leaving on his mission come with us all day long. We went bright and early to the church in preparation for our district meeting and made German Pancakes and a funfetti cake! Oh how I have missed those two things...
We then had an awesome district meeting about having an effective study. I really loved it actually. I learned so much and have been able to apply lots of things to my studies. It kinda surprised me though because we were in the middle of our meeting and the assistants walked in and just decided to come and sit in for our meeting.
We have had some really cool lessons this week. One inclusive
was a visit with a less active member who is an exmissionary, but fell
into a few trials in his life. It was so incredible to see how God helps
us to know who to visit, when to go, and what we should do or say
because this was a visit very much so needed and at the precise time.
Once again, how I love being a missionary and being an instrument in the
hands of God.
So as missionaries, we have been asked to work a lot
more with our members and our ward mission leader and ward
missionaries. So we have been putting a big focus on them and seeing
what we can do to help them out. It has been great to see them all
coming around and realizing what it is that they really need to do and
how they can do it. We had a great coordination meeting and were able to
see the desire of the members grow.
So I just love all of our investigators. We have
been able to see some great success in our investigators and we are
going to have a great week this week. But as always your prayers are
very warmly appreciated to help out our investigators.
Well this week I was given a homework assignment to
study Alma chapter 34. It is incredible. I hope you can all do the same
this week. Study Alma 34 and put it into practice. My companion and I
have had some great discussions about this chapter today and I know that
you will all learn something precious and eternal there. I hope you all
have a great week! I love you all soooooo much!
Cuídense!!
