Another Week Gone!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why hello there my lovely family! I hope you know i just love you all! Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the stuff you keep sending us, we have sooooo much food!  And Mother, the Kumcake and popcorn are delicious, thank you! That is awesome about the primary for Romney. Too bad everybody else is being so dumb. they just need to all unite and work on their reall goal, which is to defeat Obama. Thanks for the Drivers lisence and the debit card. I think my camera is fine, I just haven't taken a whole lot of pictures... I will work on that and send that to you.

I am so excited for you guys to be doing your mission! This really is the funnest thing out there. I am absolutely loving it here. It is so difficult but so rewarding at the same time. So the Spanish is coming along quite well, I know gospel Spanish but i dont know much other than that. Yesterday we had the chance to teach at the TRC which is a place where we were teaching a member lesson in Spanish, it was so cool because i wanted us to go in there with no notes and just trust in the Lord. Elder Maxwell didn't really want to because he didn't think that I could do it, but I'll tell you what. I spoke so good! To tell you the truth I spoke a lot more than my companion :) It was really cool! I really do like my companion. I think we are doing great. We definitly have our disagreements sometimes but thats alright. He kinda reminds me of a mix of Reed and Robby.

So on Sunday night, Elder Nelson came and spoke to us. It was awesome to have him here and to feel of his great spirit. He got right up and said, I am not going to give you any advice or give you any really uplifting message for missionaries, I am just going to teach out of the scriptures. So he got up and gave a 45 minute talk on the Tribes of Israel, the Abrahamic Covenant, and the gathering of those tribes. The only word that I can think to describe it as is "intelectual". It was really awesome, but it was really just smart stuff. I loved it though. I loved one of the things he said, he quoted Isaiah something where it describes those who teach the gospel as "swift messangers". He told us to be "swift messengers" and to never take our running shoes off. I thought that was a cool thing.

In one of our lessons the other day it was really embarrassing. We were teaching about God's love for us and I tried having the person read a scripture about that and I told them to read John 4:7-9 when I meant to say 1 John 4:7-9. You should read those :) Another funny thing, Elder Maxwell was trying to say through the Atonement we can be cleansed of our sins. The word for sin in Spanish is pecados. But he said pescados... which means fish. So yes, we can be cleansed from our fish.

We heard that the whole First Presidency and others are coming at the end of this month to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the MTC. That will be really cool!

SNOW!!! I walked downstairs the other day and there was snow! I was sooooo excited! I just started jumping around and singing praises! I love snow. So this week I saw so many more people. Lots of people came in yesterday so that was cool.

Thank you so much for your incredible examples to me! I really can feel your  prayers for me. It makes such a difference! Love you all sooooo much!!

Love ya,
Elder Anderson
