Howdy

Why hello there!

This has been a great week as usual. We have been doing a lot of work trying to find new people to teach, hopefully we will find some soon. We have mainly been doing a lot of less active work. It seems like a lot of people here in this ward have been offended by one thing or another and so we have been trying to help people get passed their issues I guess.

It was really cool though, this week we were talking with our buddy B. who we go and visit every week. He is the one that was going to be baptized into another church. Well. he decided that he wasn't gonna do that anymore because he now believes that God hates him for all the things that he has done in his life. It was kinda sad to see someone like him that had been doing so good and had been basking in the light of Christ to almost push it aside and go back to his old ways. It was a really cool experience for me though because it felt like everything I was saying, it wasn't me saying. Many times I kinda stopped and thought to myself, "why am I saying this? I never thought of this before..." It was really cool to be an instrument of the Lord and be able to be his mouthpiece so that the heart of this son of God could be softened.

So this week we made a stop off at the thrift store and I got the best buy ever!!! I was looking around and up on the wall was this beautiful picture of Christ and the last supper. I then notice that there was a chord coming out of it and so I followed it and turned it on.... low and behold, it was better than the leg lamp from the Christmas Story. I will attach a picture so you can see its beauty. Just imagine though, the rainbow colors you see in the back are on a little circle motor thing and it spins and wow. It is just beautiful!

Well today after I read Suzy's letter it just made me think a lot of the hymn "We are all enlisted". What an incredible hymn that is. "Fighting for a kingdom, and the world is our foe; Happy are we! Happy are we! Glad to join the army, we will sing as we go; We shall gain the vict'ry by and by. Dangers may gather - why should we fear? Jesus, our Leader, ever is near. He will protect us, comfort, and cheer. We're joyfully, joyfully marching to our home." I love that!

Hope you all have a loverly week this week!
love ya!
