Work, Work And More Work.

Why hello there! This week has just been a week full of work, work, and work... which is good!

Really right now we don’t have anyone who is progressing or really any investigators. So this week we have just been knocking doors and contacting non-stop. Sadly with all of that, we didn’t find anyone. Ugh. Oh well.

I feel like before when we had all the baptisms it was really easy, now I am working my hardest and doing all that I possibly can and we've got nothing.

Well I know that God knows our desires and the things we are trying to do and that He will place people in our paths that we will find.

There is obviously just something right now that I have to learn first! There is definitely one thing that I have learned in my life, everything depends on your attitude. If you have a good attitude, everything will go alright. We just have to patiently wait for the results.

Well this week we ended our lessons with Oscar #2. He doesn't want to change and there really isn't anything more that we can do. We can’t obligate people to change, just try to help and invite them.

So I have realized that I am just getting fat here. With all the tortillas and everything, my face is just chunky! Oh well, I am trying to not eat so much tortillas, but it is a little difficult with all the food that the Hermanas give us here. Yesterday for the comida we had 8 burritos each and 2 churrolocos and sodas. Oh sooo much food! Oh well. I will enjoy it while I can.

Well this week with all the walking and walking I have felt a bit like a pioneer. From the little step counter thing that I have, it told me that we walked 64 miles this week in the hills and heat. That took quite a toll on me actually, but we had a water balloon fight this morning as a zone and I now feel much better.

Well anyways. With this week being the 24th of July I have also been thinking about what is a pioneer really. A pioneer is someone who moves forward in order to show others a way to follow. To do this, they break the established order and sometimes pay a very high price. Courage, obedience, determination, faithfulness, service, hope, and above all an unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ are the characteristics of a pioneer. Each of us can be a pioneer in our lives. Forge a new trail and invite others to follow. The examples that we leave in our lives are honestly more important than we realize.

I invite all of you to pay special attention to your actions this week and try to be a pioneer. Try to show others a path that they too should take.

Well I hope all is going well and I love you all! Best wishes!
My prayers are with you all.
