Why Hello There!

Why hello there everyone!

This has been a pretty good week except for the fact that I got a little bug or something and got sick. Oh well. I guess really what this goes to show you is you gotta be careful in what you pray for :)

Earlier in the week I prayed that I wouldn't always have the desire to eat so much... then the next day I got sick and I can't eat anything! haha just be careful in your prayers I guess :)

So we do have some pretty exciting news from the Tijuana Mexico mission... We are no longer going to be knocking doors or street contacting anymore. The Quorum of the Twelve that for some reasons that we are no longer going to be contacting like that and we are going to be waiting in our apartments until the members have a referral and appointment for us. We will see how this goes.

We had a great meeting yesterday in the stake center and President Carreon came and talked to all the ward councils about how to work as member missionaries. It was great. Hopefully people will now act on that.

This week was pretty good though. We didn't have the baptism that we were working for, but this week we will be having one.

The language is coming along really well and I feel like I am understanding and being able to communicate really well.

This week while contacting I had one of the funniest things happen on my mission, I had a Mexican tell me, "I don't believe in God, I believe in science". I instantly thought of Nacho Libre and had a hard time not laughing. It was so funny. I tried talking to him, but he just didn't want to talk with us.

This week I finished Jesus the Christ. Such an incredible book! You should all read it.

Well I was reading a talk by Elder Bednar and he was talking about the importance of prayer. He then related it to the creation of the earth. He said, "Spiritual creation preceded the temporal creation. In a similar way, meaningful morning prayer is an important element in the spiritual creation of each day- and proceeds the temporal creation or the actual execution of the day."

Prayer is so important. Morning prayer, just sets off our day. It helps us realize in and focus on the things that are important, the things that we want to do and accomplish.

Well I hope you all have just such a loverly wonderful week. I love you all sooooooo much!
