Baptism!

Why hello there one and all! This week was quite great! Honestly it just flew by so fast and I love ever bit of it.

To start off what just made my week so great is after I wrote last week, I walked into the grocery store, and what did my wondering eyes appear? Christmas stuff! There were lights and decorations and everything! It just made my day and was just a great start to the week.

This week as we know was the 9/11 anniversary, I am glad to say that we observed the day here in a zone conference with a moment of silence.

At the beginning of the week, the weather was so fresh and cool with a little rain, but these last couple days have been record highs. Oh it has been hot. Hopefully we don't have too much more of that.

So you know how the joke in the family has been that someone is gonna name one of their kids "Axle"? Well I met an Axle this week. His family just got deported and he lived pretty much all his life over there. Pretty sad, but hes a cool kid and it just makes me more and more want to name one of my kids Axle :)

So last Saturday we had the baptism of Aidee. Honestly, the baptismal service was incredible.
The whole room was full of people and my oh my the Spirit was honestly so strong. Her aunt and uncle who live in Fresno were able to make it down and her aunt spoke. Not gonna lie, even I the unemotional one was a little touched. That is one thing, the Spirit is just so powerful, so strong that it can make every single one of us just babies.

As I mentioned how the family of Aidee came down, they also brought along a Deseret news front page and some church news!

It was so great to have those in my hands once again! I loved it!

So this week is Transfers and well, its my turn... so we will see what happens.

This week was honestly very good. We found some great people and there are some good stuff going on here in Fuentes.

So this week I have been reading more General Conference talks and they are just the best, I cannot wait till the Conference in 3 weeks.

I found two great quotes...
"We are banner bearers of the Lord Jesus Christ, upheld by the Holy Spirit of Godd, faithful and true to the end, each one devoted to give our all to the cause of Zion, and bound by covenant to stand close together and lift where we stan."
President Uchtdorf

"You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you've collected a lot of empty yesterday"... My brothers and sisters, there is no tomorrow to remember if we dont do something today."
President Monson quoting "The Music Man"

Well I hope you all know that I love ya! Have a great week!

Elder Tommy Anderson!
