"Labor Diligently"

Why hello there! How are you doing? This has been a great week. We have had some cool stuff happen and we are having some good success. This week were were able to find some new investigators through the members that are all progressing. We currently have like 3 progressing investigators that should be baptized within the next 2 weeks. We are working hard with them and the ward to be able to help them feel well and comfortable in the church but more than anything help them receive a testimony of the Gospel.

It honestly is such a surprise to me about how many people live in this world without a knowledge of God or try to live with just very little. Personally, I am so thankful that I have the gospel in my life because I feel like that is what gives life to my life or a reason to be here. For that reason I find it so important that we all need to do our part in sharing the gospel.

This morning in our staff meeting with Presidente CarreĆ³n we talked about Jacob 5 and olive trees. It was a really interesting conversation that we were having. Presidente pointed out some scriptures that point directly to missionary work. The whole chapter speaks of four visits of laborers who worked in the vineyard. President taught us that the first visit (verses 1-14)  speak of the time of before Christ. The second visit (verses 15-28) speak of the time during Christ’s life. The third (verses 29-49) speaks of the time of the great apostasy, and the last visit (verses 50-77) about the restoration of the gospel and these last days. In these last days we have been called to go into the field and labor all of our might. Verses 61 and 62 say;
 61 Wherefore, go to, and call aservants, that we may blabor diligently with our might in the vineyard, that we may cprepare the way, that I may bring forth again the natural fruit, which natural fruit is good and the most precious above all other fruit.
 62 Wherefore, let us go to and labor with our might this last time, for behold the end draweth nigh, and this is for the last time that I shall aprune my vineyard.
Now just imagine this all in terms of missionary work. God has made a final call in these last days so that we may enter in and clean the evil from this world. He has called us that we might "labor diligently" in this cause. He also mentions that this is the last time he will do it, by I think my favorite part of the chapter is verse 72 that says,

 72 And it came to pass that the servants did go and labor with their mights; and the Lord of the vineyard labored also with them; and they did obey the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard in all things.

I hope we may all be able to go into the vineyard and labor alongside with the Lord helping everyone come back unto Him. He is with us in this cause and will not let us loose. Have faith and be strong and you will each see blessings come as you labor diligently and share the gospel.

Remember who you are and act accordingly and God will bless you. Love you all!
