Miracles All Abound!

Why hello there one and all!

Let me just start off by saying that once again, this was just another incredible week! We are having an incredible amount of success here in this ward and things honestly are just going so great! We had some great high-points and a few low points, but all in all this week was tremendous.

So it has been great because everyone here in this ward has been so impressed with us because we have been able to get into doors that never have opened before. We are having a lot of success with part member families and referrals that didn't take the first time. We have had some great stuff happen this week.

One great miracle was on Wednesday we decided to go visit the twins. They had a baptismal date for this Thursday, but we didn't see them at stake conference so we thought we had to postpone the baptism. So we got there and asked them and they said they went to the afternoon session and we are all ready in preparing to be baptized the next day! So we hurry and got everything ready and were able to have the baptism of Max and Alex on Thursday night. It was just such a miracle.

This week we also well made a house. It was pretty much like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It maybe isn't quite up to the level of that, but we sure did what we could.

They will be working on a roof today for this lovely home.  I love this picture with the mom sitting in her chair supervising and the children playing by her side.

So Elder Lundberg and I have been talking a lot this week about goals. And honestly, we have learned quite a bit. We have realized that when you put your mind to something and it is not against the will of God, anything is possible. So, anyways that means that this month Elder Lundberg and I have a goal of 13 baptisms. We are working our rears off to be able to get it, but I know that we will be able to get it as long as we work with God and for the right reasons. We can apply that to anything, not just in missionary work. I honestly feel and know that anything really is possible, just put your mind to it, work for it, and invoke the powers of Heaven.

This week we should be having at least 3 baptisms from a family we found one time knocking doors. The mom was baptized young, but then never went back. We are working a lot with all of them and I know that we are gonna have success.

Another little thing that I was thinking of this week is the importance of being happy. I invite you all to be happy. It isn't a hard thing. There is always something to be happy about. Although sometimes hard things happen and we feel we should just be sad, we can always find something great and happy.

I hope you all have just such a great week full of fun goal setting that makes you happy. I hope you know that this work is true. This really is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no better way to get happier than to spend you whole time helping others. I love it! The Church is true. This is the work of Jesus Christ. Remember who you are and act accordingly.

I love ya!
Elder Tommy Anderson
