Why hello there! How are you all doing this fine week?

This was just once again a great week! We had a lot of success and just some awesome things going on. On Monday night we had a really cool ward Family Home Evening and we had a lot of investigators who came and really liked it. On Tuesday we had a really cool lesson with some of my favorite people, Monserrat and Jose (Monserrat is the one in the picture with her dog).
They are so great. We are actually going with them today to go and buy some boots! He has been a member of the church since he turned 14 and she is just coming around right now. We were able to have an incredible lesson and discussion about eternal families. The Spirit was so strong and I was just so thankful for the testimony that I have of eternal families. I was able to help build hers and strengthen mine. She now has a very strong desire to be baptized and to do everything that she needs to do, the only problem is that she doesn't want to be baptized till December because it is a very special day for her.

The practicing for the Easter concert is still just going great! It is actually a really good sounding group!

Thursday we had a really cool leadership training meeting. It was super cool because all of my past companions were there (hence the photo). We were very well instructed in how to be better leaders and basically how to help run the mission here.

While I was gone though, my companion found this incredible family. They contacted him and wanted to know more about the church because the week before they were given a wheelchair for their daughter along with a group of about 200 others that were all donated by the Church. After the meeting they went and talked to the stake president who was there as the Church Humanitarian Representative and he told them to get in contact with us. So they did and they now have baptismal dates for Easter.

We are just so blessed to be here and have these incredible experiences like that. Like I say every time, I love being a missionary! I have had so many incredible experiences that have strengthened my testimony and made me into who I really am now.

So I have been reading a lot of Alma this week and came over a part that I love. It is in Alma 57:10-11. Here we are in all of the war chapters and I love something that the Nephites do here. It says, "Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us..." They realized the need of celestial help. They realized that they could receive help from their loving Heavenly Father. And in verse 11 it says "and the Lord our God did visit us... and he did speak peace to our souls." I am so thankful for a Father who will visit us in our afflictions and trials and "speak peace to our souls." I know that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us and he just asks us that we follow him and do what he asks us to do.

I hope you all have a great week and can put into practice what Proverbs teaches us, "Trust in God, and he will lead you for you good."

Love you all!
Elder Tommy Anderson
